Luis Hernandez

My name is Luis Hernandez, the proud owner of Luis Hernandez State Farm Insurance. Our office is located in Lindenhurst. I have been working with State Farm Insurance as a Marketing Representative for eight years. In my eight years of working with this amazing company, I earned the privilege of becoming a State Farm Agent. My office has been open since November 1st, 2021. Owning a business is not what I imagined for myself growing up, but I can no longer imagine myself working in any other field.

My long-term experience and success working with State Farm Insurance has allowed me to develop a passion for working with others and further develop invaluable skills of being a team leader. I take pride in my team members that share the same inherently social-able, hard-working, and driven, characteristics that I obtain. My goals as an agent are to establish an interactive and comfortable environment that is dedicated to providing stability and assurance to our policyholders. I hope to establish myself as a reputable State Farm Insurance Agent, by which all customers and members in our community feel they can come to for help! ​I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I came to New York when I was just 8 years old. I had always held a keen interest for working in business, but it wasn’t until I worked at State Farm Insurance that those interests became more centralized. For that reason, I went to Farmingdale State College where I majored in Marketing and minored in Sociology. When I’m not providing insurance to my community, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. My family and I are very big on traveling, so that’s something that has been a constant source of happiness for me. Traveling satisfies my love for knowledge and experiencing different cultures! I am also a big foodie. I love venturing out with my family to new places and looking for new restaurants with new foods to try. I am naturally an outdoorsy person and have always gravitated towards sports for this reason. I enjoy watching football and baseball and, even more, I enjoy being able to play the sports with my 8-year-old son. My interests in my work life and in my personal life are what make me who I am. I couldn’t be anymore grateful for the opportunities given to me by State Farm Insurance.
